PIPE-LINE is an extendable dining table with a beautiful and plain extending mechanism that is deliberately exposed instead of being hidden behind wooden aprons.
Big pipes with a special color coating build the centerpiece of this extendable dining table. They are extending mechanism and apron at the same time and work like telescopic rods. The ends of the pipes are firmly connected with the sides of the table with four distinctive screws. All boards are made with honeycomb cores to make the table lightweight and more easy to extend. This also reduces the material used significantly and saves resources.

A special metal fin helps to attach the additional tabletop firmly in extended mode. It can be stored underneath the tabletop easily when not needed. The color scheme underlines the function of the table by highlighting the parts that need to be moved in order to extend the table.
